Frontend Developer resume examples by experience
A summary line and three bullets for each stage. The people and companies are fictional; the shape is what to copy: what you built, with which stack, and what changed.

- Mentored three developers and ran frontend interviews for the team.
Common mistakes on frontend developer resumes
- Only listing a framework and leaving out HTML, CSS and JavaScript, which frontend interviews test directly.
- No live links. A frontend resume should let the reader click and see the work.
- Ignoring accessibility and performance, which senior frontend roles expect.
- A highly designed two-column resume that an ATS reads out of order.
Lay it out in an ATS-friendly resume format. If you are applying for your first job, the resume guide for freshers covers section order and projects.
Questions
- What should a frontend developer put on a resume?
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript (and TypeScript), one framework such as React, how you handle responsive design, accessibility and performance, testing, and Git. Link the projects so the reader can see them.
- How does a frontend fresher write a resume?
- Lead with two or three deployed projects that show layout, interactivity and an API call, with links. Mention accessibility and Lighthouse results if you checked them.
- Frontend developer or React developer: which title should I use?
- Use the title from the job posting. If you mostly work in React, "Frontend Developer (React)" covers both searches.
- How do I prepare for frontend interviews?
- Expect JavaScript fundamentals (closures, the event loop, promises), output-prediction questions and framework questions. FaangPrep has free JavaScript and React interview questions with step-by-step traces.
- How do I check my frontend resume against a job description?
- Use the free ATS resume checker: paste your resume and the job description to see matched and missing keywords.
