Flutter Developer Resume
A Flutter resume should show apps that people can install: what each does, how state is managed, and how it talks to a backend. Here is what to include at each stage.

Flutter Developer resume: fresher

BULLETS
- Built and published an expense tracker on the Play Store in Flutter with Riverpod state management and offline storage in Hive.

Flutter Developer resume: 3 years of experience
SUMMARY
Flutter developer with 3 years shipping a cross-platform consumer app on Android and iOS.
BULLETS
- Rebuilt the checkout flow with BLoC, separating business logic from widgets and making it testable.
- Cut cold-start time by deferring heavy initialisation and caching the home feed locally.
- Wrote a platform channel for the native payments SDK on both Android and iOS.
Common mistakes on flutter developer resumes
- Listing Flutter without Dart, or without the state management approach you used.
- Apps with no store link, video or repository, so nothing can be checked.
- No mention of the backend: how the app authenticates, fetches and stores data.
- Describing screens instead of problems solved: performance, offline use, payments, notifications.
Lay it out in an ATS-friendly resume format. If you are applying for your first job, the resume guide for freshers covers section order and projects.
Questions
- What skills should a Flutter developer put on a resume?
- Dart and Flutter, the state management you have used (Provider, Riverpod, BLoC or GetX), REST APIs, Firebase, local storage, testing, and publishing to the Play Store and App Store.
- How does a Flutter fresher write a resume?
- Lead with one or two apps you published or can demo. Link the store listing or a screen recording and the repository, and say which parts you built.
- Should I add Android or iOS skills to a Flutter resume?
- Yes, if you have used them: platform channels, native SDKs, signing and releases. They separate you from candidates who only know the widget layer.
- Should a Flutter resume be one page?
- Yes for under five years of experience.
- How do I check my flutter developer resume against a job description?
- Paste your resume and the job description into the free ATS resume checker. It shows which technical keywords from the posting your resume has and which are missing. No login, and nothing is uploaded.
