  • Listing Visual Studio and Windows as skills instead of what you built.
  • No cloud detail when the posting mentions Azure.

Questions

What skills should a .NET developer put on a resume?
C#, the .NET version you use, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server with T-SQL, REST APIs, unit testing (xUnit or NUnit), Git, and Azure if you have used it.
How does a .NET fresher write a resume?
Lead with one or two ASP.NET Core projects with a database and tests, and link the code. Name the .NET version.
Should I write ".NET" or "dot net"?
Use ".NET" and the specific names (ASP.NET Core, C#). Matching the posting’s spelling helps keyword searches.
